TRAIN BOOKINGS

We are willing to undertake the rail bookings from Delhi to Allahabad and back for those alumni coming from abroad. For those wishing to avail of this facility we will provide a separate account number for the transfer of funds for the tickets.

1. Prices of tickets for the Prayag Raj express:
    a) I AC     –   Rs. 1636
    b) II AC    -   Rs. 979
    c) III AC   -   Rs. 723
    d) Sleeper -   Rs. 277

2. Prices for the Duranto Express:
   a) I AC    -   Rs. 1785
   b) II AC   -   Rs. 1110
   c) IIIAC   -   Rs. 815

* Please add 4% tax and Rs.30/- per ticket as booking charges to the above rates.

Train bookings will be open 60 days in advance for the general quota so please transfer your money before that. The account number will be sent directly to you on request as we do not wish to have other funds being transferred

The following details to be sent in a separate mail to the alagin “contact us” with the subject as Train booking.

   b) Age
   c) Date of journey from Delhi to Allahabad
   d) Date of journey from Allahabad back to Delhi
   e) Class

It would be preferable if those coming from a particular country send their money and booking requirements collectively.

LOCAL TRANSPORT

We have arranged transport to commute all the participants for the various programs arranged during the official meet dates and this is included in the registration fee. However those alumni who are coming in early or staying longer and those who require pick up from station / airport etc. may please advise your requirements in the special requests box on the registration page. We have negotiated with a local travel agent and give below rates for your ready reference

1. Pick and drop

a) Station to any Hotel in the city –Rs. 200/- for Indica and Rs. 300/- for Tavera
b) Airport to any hotel in the city –Rs. 300/- for Indica and Rs. 350/- for Tavera

2. Rental charges for 8 hours

a) Indica - Rs. 650/- (up to 60 km) + Rs. 5/50 - per km (over 60 km)+ Rs25/- per hour over 8 hours.
b) Tavera – Rs. 900/- (up to 60 km) + Rs. 7/- per km (over 60 km)+ Rs40/- per hour(over 8 hours)
c) Innova – Rs. 1200/-(up to60 km) + Rs. 8/50 - per km (over 60 km)+ Rs40/- per hour(over 8 hours)

3. Rental charges for full day (6am to 12 midnight)

a) Indica - Rs. 1100/- (200km) + Rs. 5.5/km (over 200km)
b) Tavera - Rs. 1500/- (200km) + Rs. 7.5/km (over 200km)
c) Innova - Rs. 1800/- (200km) + Rs. 9/km (over 200km)
